The Pirates of Penzance

This project was created as part of a scene design class. The visual research focused on the time and place specified in the script, which inspired the overall designs. Each act has its special setting to visually contact shifts in mood and narrative tone. The design features various drops (flying objects) and movable elements to reinforce scene transitions.
